The founder of BR SOCIALITES is Latoria Johnson-Richardson. She’s a native of Baton Rouge and attended Istrouma High School and Southern University before she decided to enter the banking and mortgage world in 2009. She’s married to Derrick Richardson and has two daughters Jakera and Denver and one granddaughter Jayce. Most of her success she attributes to her family, friends and dedicated supporters of BR Socialites. 

Latoria unofficially started BR Socialites in 2012 with party promotions at Club Raggs and decided to make it an official business in 2018 with the start at the BR Masquerade Ball. The goal of the ball was to give Baton Rouge natives an opportunity to dress up and have a good time without having to travel. The ball has since grown tremendously and continues to get bigger and bigger every year.

Along with the BR Masquerade ball, BR Socialites hosts other various events throughout the year, such as The Adult proms, Sneaker balls, R&B night every Thursday at Club Raggs and many many other great events for the elite party people of Baton Rouge and surrounding areas.
